I just joined a support group and I love it. I've only been twice. We meet at the hospital once a month and so far we've talked about nutrition and meds. I also saw them at the walk. We are connected they are my sisters. Its fun and escape with people who understand me.
Even though I use online support, I will attend a support group in my town that meets every 2nd Sat in each month. Secondary to my belief in God, I need All the support I can get.
I go to UF and shands and I'm with the pediatric rheumatologist Dr. Mellisa Elder
@A MyLupusTeam Member I am actually on my way to get one done now but I've been getting the treatments for five months now. Started out as every two weeks then went down to every month and soon once every 9-12 weeks. It's working in my favor according to my doctors. My labs are improving with every treatment. I can't really tell a difference yet. They said it would take some time to really notice a difference. But I don't think it affects chances of fertility
