Aspirin And Lupus

Aspirin And Lupus

Does anyone take aspirin? Has anyone's rheumy told them not to take aspirin? When I have a headache it seems that aspirin is the only thing that helps. But I haven't had aspirin in years.

I take Aspirin because of Atrial fibrillation that was caused by Lupus. My Rheumatoid and Cardiologist worked together to ensure all medications they prescribed worked together effectively and did not cause issues for me. I have not had any issues as of yet and I do for blood work every 2 weeks.

I was put on Warfarin after diagnosis of blood clotting disorder. No aspirin for me or any ant inflammatory drugs as it adds to the blood thinning affect.

I take an aspirin a day. My Dr. put me on this when I was first diagnosed with lupus because of a blood disorder they discovered also.
