Hi, Im off cellcept at last. I was switched over to Azathropine which is safer than cellcept for pregnancy. For all of you on cellcept can I suggest please watch that you dont take it with prednisone. Those meds damaged all my ball and socket joints resulting in expensive treatments like hip replacements and it also did damage to my shoulder joint.

Ive been on cellecept and Prednisone for the past 9 years. My lupus has been controlled because of it. As soon as I went into remission I started tapering the medicines then I went into a flare up again affecting my Kidney. So looks like I will have to stick on with cellcept all my life. Well it atleast keeps me pain free and living
