It currently is administered through infusion. I was part of a clinical study to try the drug by injection, and it worked for me, but the study only closed in the fall, so they will need to do the analysis and apply to the FDA for approval, assuming the results were good. Usually they provide a Tylenol and an antihistamine to take with the infusion. I've had no negative side effects from either the injections or from the infusion, and although it is hard to see immediate results, after about 6 months I found I was very stable. I have not had a flare in over a year now! Reactions vary widely, though, and your rheumatologist should be able to provide more info on possible reactions. There is a lot of good information on how this works on their web site.

In addition I have done a little lifestyle housekeeping I don't deal with any one ore anything that is negative including family and lifelong friends. I also do not listen to other people's drama I can only manage my own. Good Luck! Keep me posted!
