I have recently had totally normal blood work done. It showed no active sign of a lupus flair. I've been off prednisone for about 2 months and just this week went from 8 methotrexate tablets to 6. They are trying to ween me off.
My question is, does anyone have painful all over stiffness without blood work showing inflammation? My doctor thinks this is not lupus related. Why am I so exhausted and uncomfortable? It hurts to roll over in bed. I can hardly walk after laying down or sitting

My blood work is normal as well. I still take Plaquinil. I am stiff and sore most days. I just always attribute it to Lupus and fibromyalgia. I stopped eating gluten for awhile and I had less stiffness and pain. I have been sneaking in gluten lately and I have more pain.
Ask your doctor about Rheumate. It is a Rx multivitamin that has helped me gain my life back. I was so fatigue and sick daily but it helps me. I am finally getting out more and considering working. I can't go a day without them . I take 2 a day. It is a new drug.
My doctor said even though sometimes my ANA is normal and sed rate, that we will still have the inflammation and lots of the other things because of course we still have lupus, it's just a little less visible in blood tests. does this make sense?
Chronic fatigue syndrome, you are always tired. Fibromyalgia causes all over body pain.
They both can join you via the lupus. There are a lot of illnesses that can come with the lupus
I have experienced that sorness & stiffness after sitting for only seconds. It was part of one of my flares. It was so bad that I hated using the bathroom because getting on & of the toilet was murder. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hips. The plaquenil helps w/the inflammation for both.(RA & Lupus) I also try to eat alot of anti-inflamatory foods.
