Any ideas to help with insomnia?
I take ambien, I never sleep without it. I don't know if you've read my past answer to this but the neurologist told me that one of the problems with lupus patients is the part of the brain that sends signals to the adrenals and sleep centers gets disconnected and it's i.possible to reach REM sleep anymore. Without REM sleep your body never Truely rests hence you always feel tired and even depressed. He says it is in your healths best interest to take a sleep aid you will feel so much better, and in my case he was so right, I feel way better. I hope this helps and I wish you sweet dreams. 😉
I use cannabis instead of all the pain killers for sleeping for eating and to control all the bull lupus brings works for me and I use onces a day morning and I am great all day ....
Like scarmichael,I take ambien, xanax and remeron to sleep at night. You may need some thing to help you relax your mind so your able to sleep, with the fatigue and the meds we take sleeping should come easy, but with chronic illness trouble sleeping is very common.I wish you a good nights rest.Peace&Blessings.
Meditation tapes and music have helped me in the past. Also a good mineral bath ( Epsom salts and bi carb of soda) or a foot soak and if you have a partner who can give you a foot massage prior to bed, this has also worked a treat.. My husband has become a accomplished in massage and reflexology over the years/decades. I am very grateful!
Best wishes for a good night's sleep.
The marijuana is great for lupus but since it's illegal here In Florida and I'm a retired cop I can only state what I been told???? 🙄🤔🙄🙄
