Anyone have eczema? Dermatologist says that is what is on my hands and I have never had eczema before all this lupus sickness hit me...
@A MyLupusTeam Member it sounds like psoriasis my friend had that and i remember her having those symptoms. you shoushould go to a different or the same doctor and when you have you flares thats the best time to go. Also what i do i take pictures of my rashes this way they see what we are talking about. Yup I am the medicated paparazzi...lol.
I have these bumps on my scalp. The doctor said it was eczema. It itches and gets worse during winter months. I never had it until I got lupus either. I thought it was psoriasis. My mother had a severe case of psoriasis. I was afraid it was that.
I have had these dry patches of skin on the palms of my hands since after the birth of my first child who will be 13 next month. I have been to numerous Drs. and 2 dermatologist who have all prescribed me a cream or an ointment to put on my hands daily and I can tell you NONE of it heals. It helps temporarily. The ONLY time it went completely away is when I got pregnant with my 2nd child in 2012 and it returned within 3-4 months after giving birth. He is 3 now. It is awful, I have tried everything from an 800.00 cream to now a 8.00 cream from Walgreens's. My new dermatologist said if the cream didn't work this time she would like for me to come into her office 3xs a week and get shots in my hands. I do not like needles needless to say I am considering, I just wish she weren't an hour away from me. I have never been told exactly what it is called psoriasis, eczema or dermatitis, etc... I have only been told that it is caused by stress??? If you find something that actually heals this please share...
All my life exema. Now I have some psoriasis. I need to make a dermatologist appointment. Doing the most important stuff first.
@A MyLupusTeam Member, I've heard that Humira , that's probably spelled wrong, works on that type of lupus. It's worth talking to your dr about
