At What Point Do You Tell A Man You Are Dating That You Have Lupus?

I am 57 years old and am a widow. It took me after Michael had been dead for about 2 years that I felt any desire to even look at another man. My kids are adults and live in Idaho. They encouraged me to try computer dating. I am now getting attention from men. I am seeing men here in Yucca Valley but also have what I call "penpals" on the computer. I definitely would not tell them on the first date. I am very honest too but that's a little too honest. I would go as to how the relationship is progressing. If it's moving fast and you guys are both feeling a connection absolutely right then you need to tell him but no, not on the first date.

I agree. You can be honest, but this can wait until you can see the relationship going somewhere. Just enjoy the dating scene!

I waited until I knew the relationship could go further then a friendship. I not only had lupus but I was advised not to get pregnant and I also had two teenage kids. Talk about scaring him off. Lol😂 @A MyLupusTeam Member

I agree with the others because most of them probably don't know what lupus is and they just think they are seeing someone with some kind of diease. I know you want to be honest and that is great. I'd wait and see if they are even interested in me as a person.

Oh, it's also called shea butter. You can buy the very expensive kind from Bed, Bath and Beyond or use the one I use it's called Queen Helene. I live in the desert so when it starts to get hot I put it in the fridge and it is refreshing after a shower.
