I did for 6 months after a really bad flare. I felt a little nausea for a day or two but then felt better.

In the beginning I was put on cytoxin and then retuxan. Then I was put on IVIG and now I've been on Benlysta. The answer to your question they use chemo for treating lupus. Hope this help. Hugs

I had cytoxin for three years to treat my kidneys and now I'm on benlysta. I also did Retuxan for my anemia.

If it is benlysta that you talked about, then it is much much milder than what you might picture as chemotherapy. I get an upset stomach for a day or two after getting infusions, then I feel better than ever since being diagnosed. It really works great for me
