I go to Aurora and Mercy Clinics right now. I'm looking for someone that has personal experience with a good doctor. Thanks, Kathy
@A MyLupusTeam Member check out Goodbye Lupus by Brooke Goldner MD. I purchased her book from Amazon, it's her lupus story and a great read and it has helped aliviate lots of my lupus symptoms. She does free consultation and also has a Facebook group that I follow. Praying for better pain free days ahead.ππΌππ€
My GP is only in Waterford. Her name is Dr. Decker. It's frustrating trying to find competent doctors.
@A MyLupusTeam Member It's actually in WI but Aurora is building everywhere pretty quickly. They are taking over most healthcare in our area and have cut health providers pay but expect long hours. It's become all about the all mighty $$. Sad
Update: My rheumatologist recommended I go to UW Madison or Medical College of Milwaukee to find a GI that is familiar with Lupus.
@A MyLupusTeam Member, Honestly, I would be willing to drive the distance for a good gp who communicates with my Rheumy. Thanks so much for the info.
