What Are The Chances Of Getting PML When Taking Imuran?
I had to stop plasmoquine because of my eyes, my joint pain is really bad, the methetroxate doesnt really help. I'd like to try Imuran but am scared of getting PML. Does anyone know what are the chances of getting PML when taking Imuran??
I've taken Imuran since 1991 and haven't had any real problems and never heard of PML. So guess I am okay.

PML is usually lethal. The odds of getting it from using Imuran is approximately one in one hundred (1%). PML is a risk associated with most biologics used to treat lupus.
