Cymbalta

Cymbalta

I recently got diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and my doctor put me on Cymbalta because "it should help with pain." Does anyone have any experience with it?

I've been in cymbalta for about 9 months now for neuropathy. It does seem to help with the burning and numbness I get in my hands and feet but I've had to increase my dose every few months for the same effects. It doesn't help with headaches, joint or muscle pain

I was put on Cymbalta for anxiety (when I was losing my dad) and also for it's pain properties. It has helped with my overall ability to handle stressful events better but the jury is still out on the pain for me.

I guess everybody and every body is different, because Cymbalta was not my friend and I had to get off of it. So just see how you feel while you are on it. Smitty S

Cymbalta is commonly used to help manage chronic pain. I've never been on it but the the results are promising
