Anyone Get Extreme Hand Pain And Numbness Mainly At Night?

I don't know what is going on with my extreme hand pain and numbness and so far none of my doctors do either. I've had MRI's and carpal tunnel tests. My rheumatologist just today prescribed an NSAID gel that she thought would really help (but it's not). It's 2 am in the morning and I'm up cruising this site because the pain and numbness in my hands wakes me up and it's always the worst at night - maybe it has something to do with laying down. I'm sorry for you, I understand I'm experiencing the same for almost one year. I have a diagnosis of SALE and psoriasis artritis and my wrist and finger, arms are on pain all day long but it's worth at night, my Reumatology prescribed Meloxicam sometimes help but not always. I change my diet for meatless one and I'm having better results I can't eat red meat, tomato for uric acid. I hope this could help. I hope you get better

My hands hurt terribly. I started low dose predisone 10mg, last Dec and it has helped the pain tremendously. I know when I have not taken it.
I will be trying injections of steroids into my hands in a couple weeks. If it works I may be able to kick the steroids to the curb. Biofreeze hwlps somewhat as well.
Weather changes always affect me ....

Thx Susan..I will have to try pickle juice. I tried apple cider vinegar, but then read all the precautions and scary things that could happen on the internet, and stopped. Mustard with turmeric in it helps too (heinz brand has turmeric..just read the label at the grocery store).
