My dog is a certified therapy dog but not for lupus particularly. U can get any dog certified they have to pass a class and test. Buying one already certified maybe trickier. I would call your local aspca they may be able to guide you more. But if u want to train your own you can . If you need help further I know a lot about diff breeds and can help. I live on a farm and know a lot about service animals feel free to contact me (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) or through this site

Yes, I have an emotional support animal prescription from my doctor....not a service animal yet. In order to be a service animal, the pet needs to follow basic commands and be certified, like people have mentioned.

I am sture that when you get a stroke or Tia that your own dog would alarm you that there is something very wrong...they feel danger.Especially guardian dogs can notice danger and react on it.
