I have previously been on cymbalta and it did nothing for me. The doctor is wanting to put me on lyrica. I need honest feed back, the good the bad the ugly , so I can make the Wright decision. Chronic illness sucks
I had horrible jaw clenching issues. It looked like I was grimacing. Doctor took me off right away...apparently it is one of the problematic side effects.
Well, now, it's probably for the best because Lyrica doesn't work for more than half of us lupies and it's REALLY expensive. I think of it, rather cynically, as the typical "new" drug -- supposed to solve all your problems but doesn't, costs the earth and is touted as a "breakthrough". Makes for good ads on TV, anyhow. What do you currently take for pain (what Lyrica is supposed to help)? You may be able to use less "exciting" drugs to help your symptoms. And the things that work, in my experience, are usually NOT what the docs push on you.
I took Cymbalta had to stop it caused my sodium levels to drop.
I’m taking a muscle relaxer and hydrocodone and fiorecet for the migraines I was on cymbalta it didn’t help at all
