Wondering if anyone has Antiphospholipid syndrome, what anticoagulation you’re on and if you have had a clot FYI I was recently djagnosed with lupus and my lupus anticoagulant level has been elevated and has increased since last time so my rheumatologist put me on a baby aspirin daily.. Thx in advance for your help!!

In febrary this year I have been tested the first time and my anticardiolipine and my antiphospholipine were high. Now I have to be tested again in 2 weeks to see if they are still elevated. Hope all is well, eventhough I have several problems fitting for APS..

I do have Antiphospholipid syndrome. I am on 2.5 mg of coumadin because I have had strokes. The one doctor put me on Plavix but after several strokes I had a hospitalist tell me that Plavix will not stop strokes when you have Antiphospholipid syndrome. I then had to have Lovenox shots and then they could put me on the Coumadin. Each person is different on how much blood thinner they need. I was on 365 Enteric coated aspirin first and then due to strokes I was put on the couamdin. My antiphospholipid has always been there. It has never gone away.
