Concerta ADHD meds

Concerta ADHD meds

The other day I went to the ER because I was in excruciating pain. I have been like this since April ish. Nothing is working or helping. I'm tired of every day feeling like crap. My hand and feet mostly. On fire. Pins and needles. The bones hurt. Everything hurts. Chest pains. The ER doctor mentioned my concerta which is like Ritalin (adhd) meds could be causing these symptoms. Any thoughts? I felt really offended and annoyed.

I am no Doc but I have had SLE since 1998 and struggle with these very symptoms. You are not alone in this. Hugs.💕

I don't understand why humans think the way we do. All things given to us by our creator are useful. When will we grow up? We set up institutions to control everything we don't think for ourselves anymore. I'm over 70 I've always followed the law (I'm secretly scared of court rooms as my. Dad was a conservative lawyer and would take us to his court cases in back of the room. He and the courtroom scared the bejeezes out of me) not even a speeding ticket but I'm changing my ideas. I've come to the conclusion Drs are nuts the healthcare is out for the holy buck by inventing new rules new departments and in cahoots with ins co and pharmaceutical cos. And...I was a healthcare provider. Boy that was a rant. Any way Aundria I feel we all should be able to make our own decisions for our healthcare, and our pain. I believe every state should have a clinic where all terminal people's can go to for pain relief the person's choice. I can come to your state but I can't bring it back to mine. God bless jean

Sounds like the ER doc has never read up on Lupus. All those symptoms sound like Lupy issues to me, but if they r unusual for you, it could be a flare. Don't feel bad about his/ her ignorance - few ER doctor's r equipped to deal with us. Here in Colorado, the opioid problem has made doctors so paranoid about being sued that u could walk in dragging your intestines behind you, and they r likely to suggest you go home and take some Advil. My doctor won't prescribe pain meds unless I agree to be admitted to the hospital (and I would rather gargle thumb tacks that be in the hospital) so I do alot of angry suffering. I have never heard of meds for ADHD causing side effects that mirror yours. Some docs just don't have the courage to say they just don't know what's wrong. Chin up, honey, you are better than u were treated.

Yeah Nick one of the reasons I will not go to a pain management clinic. Nick...have you tried CBD for pain. It's legal in all states. It comes from the cannibus plant. Look it up online you can get it on line to try. I wish my state would legalize the use of marijuana. It would help with a lot of pain complaints. Maybe then the pain management clinics would all go under.
