I’m new here my ANA reflex came back and my result are Homogeneous Pattern 1:640. What’s next my doctor is sending me to a Rheumatologist, what to expect next?

Welcome Kaitlyn... 💞🤗🌺
First thing don't panic.
Your first visit to Rheumatologist is just fact finding. Write all your questions down ahead of time so you won't forget.
Write a good history with symptoms, take blood work results with you.., x-rays etc.
Don't be surprised if they do a completely new set of blood work.
After all tests are back then they will call you back to discuss results..diagnosis,treatment plans.
It's confusing 1st visit so write everything in advance.
Big hug🥰💞🤗🌺 Josey 🌹

And have them check u for all have Lupus partners in crime. The party chrashers called Sjogrens, Raynauds, Fibromyalgia, thyroid issues, R.A. and sorry I can’t remember the rest. P.s. get used to brain fog and cognitive difficulties.

Most importantly always fight ur doctors on never being on steroids for longer than a maximum a couple of weeks (if ur major organs aren’t failing)! Click my name and read my Q+A to understand how bad steroids are in long time use.
