Blood sugar

Blood sugar

I had a positive Ana, homogenous type. I have red rashes, fatigue, joint pain in legs, I have to wait for more appointments which could be months. But I’m in so much pain. The only other thing that’s high is my glucose. Does this sound like lupus?

Did they give you anything? I would not wait months to get any help. I don’t understand why doctors think it’s ok to send you on your way like it’s going to go away by itself.

Don’t panic! The ANA is a screening tool—most people with Lupus have a positive ANA but most people with a positive ANA do not have Lupus. There are a whole bunch of autoimmune disoders with similar symptoms, and some healthy people have a positive ANA. Until you can be seen by a rheumatologist, I would take warm baths for the joint pain and alternate tylenol and ibuprofen.

Yes and sometimes it takes a few appointments and tests to get diagnosis. They treat the symptoms until confirmed. Hope this helps.. pray for pain to ease. Try warm Epsom salt bath with lavender them after your dried and pores close about 30 min I apply biofreeze (Walmart or cvs) has it , it’s cool then heats up and does help pain.
Hugs my friend
