So as some of u already know ive been battling pericarditis for the last 3 weeks 🤦🏽‍♀️man has it been the worst ever, anyway i saw a new rheumy today who was a doctor who finally listened to me and prescribed me 200mg plaquenil twice a day, so im guessing i take this for breakfast and dinner, not to sure. How do u all take yours? Are u on this dose? And im also on 10mg of prednisone as she felt the 50mg was too high. But i take that 3 times a day. Took a little while to feel the effects of Plaquenil. Be patient. I have to remember that it also reduces damage to major organs and reduces joint damage. These are perks I can't see, that are happening behind the scenes.

I take no meds. Trying to deal with it without. So far a year an a half med free. I leave everything in god hands, because my faith is that strong.

My doctor said taking two in the morning was ok but I split mine. One at breakfast and one at dinner so I avoid stomach irritation. I take my other meds at lunch. Works for me!
