What Unanswered Questions About Lupus, Fibro, Or RA Do You Still Have?

I am writing a book for lupus, fibro, and RA patients. The aim of the book is to provide practical information, education, and encouragement. Your questions help me know what information patients are really searching for. Thanks!

Absolutely! It depends on the severity of your symptoms. Benlysta is great for many lupus patients. Plaquenil is enough for my daughter. CellCept, Methotrexate, and so many more now. Keep a journal of your daily symptoms, foods, body changes, weather, meds to help you locate the triggers that make symptoms worse. Your detailed explanations are key to helping you communicate effectively with your doctor. Also watch for strange hormonal changes. For instance, just recently I began having pregnant like symptoms, and I am postmenopause at 52 years! So I had an ultrasound and found my ovarian cysts are still active and I have uterine fibroids, all signs of hormonal fluctuations. Stress and hormones are the biggest triggers for women. Blessings!

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia many years ago. I am now being looked at for the possibility of Lupus. Do I have hope in that some medications may help? I just turned 60
