What Medication Is Prescribed For Anti-phospholipid Syndrome?

What Medication Is Prescribed For Anti-phospholipid Syndrome?

Can't seem to get answers from my primary or Hematologist if I should be seeing a specialist or if I should be taking other medication besides the Lovenox. I have been told that LA is Lupus and also that it is not, just having a hard time getting answers. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I took lovenox and warfarin for awhile. Then after my second PE, I was put on eliquis. So far so good. But it's only been 2 months. 🤞

I'm taking Adiro (low dose aspirin 100mg) together with plaquenil to avoid blood clots.

I was first prescribed Eliquis but it did not work for me, my d-dimer numbers were still off the charts even when taking Eliquis. They switched me to Lovenox and they came down but I hate the daily shot. Was just wondering if I should be on anything else besides the blood thinners for blood clots.

I was prescribed Eliquis for the anti-phospholipid antibody to prevent blood clots. Seems to work well.
