Does Sun Exposure Make You Nauseous?

I’ve been battling extreme nausea after being outside the past couple of days and wondering if anyone else has this reaction...

The first day I foolishly forgot my sunscreen and paid the price with 5+ hours of INTENSE nausea. The second day I was sure to apply [Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 100+] but I still ended up crawling back inside with tunnel vision + headache + nausea.

I MUST wear a hat when going out in the sun. I find protecting my head is key in avoiding lupus sun flares. I would get weak and feel off balance if I had much sun. 🌞

I too became more sensitive to the sun, garlic and other foods that boost the immune system around 2-3 years ago. Believe it or not but I could eat loads of garlic foods and spend hours out in the sun before my Lupus got worse. Now I can’t even sit by the window on a sunny day. Or even touch pesto without getting Lupus abdominal pains.

try going out with sun glasses on too. Maybe the brightness of the sun is affecting your eyes and giving you a kind of nauseating migraine. No harm trying.
