COVID19 Here We Go!

COVID19 Here We Go!

So I have been self quarantining since Monday night, because one of my hiking buddies I spent the Christmas weekend with got positive. Meanwhile another two tested positive
I got extremely nervous and barely gotten any sleep since then and pain comes and goes as it pleases, some seem like nerve pain
I also have been having 37,5 ºC around the afternoon. Yesterday I slept a bit better and got a bit calmer, but I still have headaches and pain in my back on the right and the rib on the left. I… read more

I am lost a bit in the conversation.

Dropping by to say I got the PCR yesterday. It was freaking scary because we were all in a tent and some people were coughing. It comes in three days to a week.
Meanwhile the hikers count is in four positive and several people JP said needs no testing though they are having symptoms. Everyone tested in private facilities or pharmacy tests. I am the first one to pass the great wall of phonecalls and burocracy to get tested, public health service veteran, right?! Every day we discover some new dirt on the government policies to deal with Covid.

@A MyLupusTeam Member I am having final presentations and tests at the same time. Thanks for searching for me.

@Shostsey some Lupusteam member advised me on the oil and he used one drop or less with food. The taste was awful, not doing it. I would research, but rubbing does help.
I have a huge problem with names and end up looking like the stupid westerner always.

I use garlic like there's no tomorrow and will continue. Ultimately, we all need to know our bodies and nowadays it's difficult to know exactly what we are eating.

@A MyLupusTeam Member we all need some laughs!

@A MyLupusTeam Member it's the emergency alert system from each city, like earthquake or typhoon. Now it alerts about covid19 and advise you to stay home. In my city is at 16.00. The neighbor city is at 17.00, so if I pay attention it alerts you twice.

@A MyLupusTeam Member and @A MyLupusTeam Member I totally understand disappearing from the site off and on. It is painful for me to be on the site too much as well, especially with my neck muscle and arm muscle problem and so many other things I really should try to get done. It is good to use the time for movement, stretches, exercise, preparing of food, rest etc. but know that I will be back when I can and am sending good wishes.

Results came back negative today after I took the test on Tuesday, by my own initiative. I was the first person to take it at public hospital, years of handling public health service became in handy. I hope I didn't get it at the hospital either.

It shed some light on the way they aren't doing much to control or contact tracing. I hope what I learned about the national health system will help me in the future. And I hope I helped the infected somehow. The count is on 8, probably 9, our little Covid hikers retreat in the mountains! I hope they fully recover soon.

It also shed some light on the people I can count on in Japan, and I am happy my housemates helped me the best they could.

Tokyo and surrounding prefectures are in lockdown but there's not much difference really, the four o'clock voice over the neighborhood telling you to be at home is back. I will go to school and finish my final presentation in person thankfully. And then vacations.

Thanks for the support! 😘

Interesting @A MyLupusTeam Member. Yes, there are very few things we can eat. It is a challenge. That's for sure. I am taking some powdered supplements from Dr. Gundry that really help me get my fruits and vegetables and some good blender drinks. I did not know about green beans of all things. I do have lupus but I am not taking any drugs for it. I had it probably since my 30's but was not diagnosed back then. So I have been keeping a food journal for many years. For or me, it is impossible to live in a bubble so I do the best I can. It's impossible have any kind of life with friends because people like to go out and eat and there's bound to be some garlic in something so I guess I may be giving up on being so careful but just doing the best I can. Thanks for the info
