I often experience so many symptoms such as tunnel vision, dizziness, confusion, forgetfulness, change in mood and even a little bit in personality, shortly before this happens (it’s kind of like a marker this is coming), body pain and such. I start to sort mail and I put mail in the wrong boxes, I count change back wrong, give people the wrong items, fill out paperwork wrong... but When I’m good I’m great. I’ve had an MRI on my brain a few years ago and it was good! What is going on? I see a… read more
((hugs))... Sorry you're going through this - I hope the neurologist will have answers for you. It's more than 15 years since I was diagnosed and more than 10 that I've dealt with dizziness - I take a medication that helps a LOT (it's one that I take every day or else I start noticing the 'fuzziness' and dizziness within about 30 hours). Besides the medication - what I've noticed is stress is definitely a factor - but 'stress' could be what's on my plate for the day OR could be how much is going on around me (I get confused and sort of shut down if there's too much noise or activity around me); also notice that certain types of lights are a trigger, especially for headaches and dizziness (looks weird but I'll wear sunglasses if I have to stay in that environment, like when it happens at work).
I find that my dizziness and brain fog worsen (but is always there to some degree), when I have gone off the recommended diet for Lupus (and the RA that I have as well). If I follow the recommendations of things to avoid I truly feel a bit better but the fatigue is always there. Sugar and processed foods are big culprits for me. Carbs in general are an issue because they increase inflammation.
Wow!!! You are not alone - this just started for me! I will be looking at the dishwasher - trying to say turn on the dishwasher and I'll either go blank, or I'll call it the washer or the washing machine....good to know I'm not crazy!
Dizziness, confusion, sweating profusely, feeling faint, light headed, nauseated, that's how I feel before the vomiting and diarea starts...then there's the weakness that follows... I'm writing this because I can relate to the extreme exhaustion after a weird spell...to this day i don't know what causes it. I hope that you get answers and please share Results
I sometimes get brain fog, dizziness with Lupus flare ups and a bit of confusion. I have noticed that it has occurred more as I get older.Hoeever, it does pass with the flare up subsiding. In the past, many years ago, I had a neurologist look at my situation and had an MRI to ensure everything was ok. I have Vertigo but it’s mild. Best thing is to listen to your body rest when you need it snd can. Be kind to yourself.
