@A MyLupusTeam Member I am sorry you have been through a lot. I have a lot fatigue even when I am not flaring. It is one of my biggest challenges but when I flare my fatigue gets much worst. I get concerned how this effecting me at work. Lupus makes working difficult when your in pain and fatigued with brainfog.

Yes it does but my lupus affects my blood my veins swell when I have a flare. It depends on how long and how deep of a flare. I have had so many flares that I have lupus blisters under my skin. If flare breaks the vein then I get a bruise where the vein burst. Usually I have to wait to use my hands. Also in January of 2021 I had a stroke because of covid.

I collapsed three times at work. Left by ambulance twice. It looked like I was having a stroke but it was POTS plus a flare.
Could not remember things….would go to my smart board and forget what I was doing. Too tired to get through 75 minute periods…..headaches always (not ideal for an instrumental and vocal music teacher)
Currently I am on LTD and I am not sure I’ll ever get back. I miss it every day, but also know I am not up to it.
