Good morning
I have had allergic reactions to Plaquenil, Mestinon and Propranolol…
Dr weaned my off of Effexor and I have started 20 mg of Cymbalta. It has been a week.
Symptoms started with a headache and itchy eyes…..yesterday progressed to a rash snd burning eyes. I was up in the night with digestive issues.
I can’t be 100 sure it is the meds, but wonder at the safety of stopping/starting my much needed anxiety meds without my Dr consent. I don’t see him until Tuesday, but wonder if I… read more
I took cymbalta for anxiety and misplaced my prescription when i was having new carpet put in and i had just got out the hospital… my brother moved everyrhing out of three rooms for the carpet to be laid and i had no idea what he did with my medicine….i had withdrawls so bad it was horrible, when i looked up the med and side effect if you just stop taking it and it was bad, very bad. I found the meds later but i didnt take them ever again.
I too feel amazing if I cut out gluten, all sugar and alcohol. All too often, I get to feeling good for a few days, then go for a slice of pizza and glass of wine, and boom, swollen fingers, exhaustion, aches and pains everywhere. I’m my own worse enemy. I think we all know what should be doing to feel the best we can. It just makes sense, but not easy to do. Like right now, I should get off this iPad and get on my treadmill! Off I go. Have a great day!💕🏃🏻♀️
Lol. I think you’ll be okay, Jodie! I was on the 30s for about 3 weeks when they had me stop cold turkey. I mean, I couldn’t pee, right? Lol. The very next day every 5 minutes; I swear 500-900 mL. 😂
That is correct about the Epipen. In fact, if you have to use an EpiPen at all, at any time, you are to go directly to the ER; relapses do happen.
So glad you can stop it! I’m waiting for a call back from my doc…probably won’t get one though…😖
What I have learned is that what is good for one person is deadly for for another. Methotrexate is a widely used drug. BUT FOR ME, it built up in my system and caused a heart attack and stroke. I coded twice and ended in a coma. I felt myself going to be with the Lord but he decided I had more work to do. Thank you, God.🥰
You could ask your Rheumatologist about it. I am not sure the dentist would be familiar with it. Like I said, it was a prescription that the oncologist would write for ( cancer docs). It is worth looking into so you can be more comfortable.
