I've noticed that since I started eating a more plant-based diet I don't have as much joint pain and stiffness.
Avoid sugar as it feeds the inflammation. Take Tumeric as it reduces inflammation, I started it a year ago and I have virtually no pain any more, I work out at least 4 days a week, 2 aerobic and 2 days swimming. Feeling strong at 70 years old. Most days I average 10,000 steps. It takes commitment but the change has been life changing.
No dairy..Low sugar..reduce drinking wine almost none Increased my water intake.
CBd oil in my turmeric tea.
I increased my banana and orange intake. Less processed foods.
As a retired nurse I recommend that your 2 small meals be protein/ complex carbohydrates/ fat - in equal amounts... Use sugar to boost when low only - I often use diabetic shakes or Atkins shakes as snacks - they have good balanced snack bars too.

I drink lots of water, drink smoothies that consist of Turmeric, Ginger, Bananas, Berries and add honey and lemon at least 3 days a week.
