Each evening about 7 pm, I blush/flush over my cheeks. There is a burning feeling but it fades away. I notice see it when I’m standing in my bathroom under incandescent light. No bumps, pustules. Again, it fades away after 1/2 hour. Is this form of malar rash?

I have that too. Very light blush in the nose /cheek area. It's so light that I never know if its from external circumstances, like sunburn or food or heat, or if it's a lupus sign of flare ups (malar rash). It doesn't last long.
Is it from something you eat or drink every evening? My cheeks turn red/blueish when I drink a little wine. It goes away in a short time too. It has something to do with the sugar in the wine, especially sweet wine.

Marilyn, I had not thought of a food reaction. I don’t drink and rarely eat anything sweet after our early dinners. But I will be more aware. Thank you 😊
