Used it for many years. It only helped very little.

Does it help with stomach pain and headache?
I have them right now and I don’t want to exacerbate it

Cymbalta definitely helped my fibromyalgic/nerve pain. What an added bonus from an antidepressant. I feel lucky as apparently it does not help everyone.
I finally sorted out my pain issues..it has helped me get the right treatment. Basically I have 3 types of pain..1) all over "flu type" pain with sore muscles.joints and stiffness.
2) local pain from arthritis.i.e.my bone on bone knee pain.or frozen shoulder pain.
3) nerve pain with burning, shooting, stabbing components..all over body.
Cymbalta helped #3.
Tylenol /topical gels help#2
Vicodin helps #1.
Can't take NSAIDS (on coumadin)
#1 pain is most debilitating for me. I have it almost every day. If I have appts or a lunch date I use vicodin and I have a 2 to 4 hour window of low pain and relief from stiffness. This allows some control over my day. I'm fortunate to have an MD who understands and prescribes the vicodin. Ive been on this regime for several years. No increase in amount of Vicodin needed in all this time..and I can usually manage my day well

I pace myself and don't schedule too many appts/activities per week.
Children grown and I'm retired and I still need alot of rest. Very tough disease.

I tried it for 2 weeks and I felt worse. This does not mean that you will have horrible side effects.

I used it for 3 weeks. It did not help with pain and my brain fog and fatigue increased to the point that I fell asleep multiple times a day. It also made me dizzy 24/7.
