Painful Burning Skin

Painful Burning Skin

I apologize if this has been covered before. I am still newly diagnosed so trying to get my head around everything. I am experiencing serious burning skin feeling, particularly in my left thigh. Is this a thing? And does anyone have any suggestions? I have my first appointment with my rheumatologist in 2 weeks. Iā€™m struggling and feel lost šŸ˜ž

I experience random burning sensation! My most sensitive spots are on my back and my forehead when my hair touches the skin. All my rheumatologist does is throw steroids at it. I'm searching for a new provider! Keep a pain journal, noting site and sensation, to show your rheumatologist! Stay strong, we're in this with you!
