Lupus And Mood Swings.

Lupus And Mood Swings.

Hello Everyone,

I have noticed that the past couple weeks I have separation anxiety and moments of wanting to cry but just a few minutes later I feel totally fine! I have never had depression or any mental health concerns at all!!!!!!!!!! No mood swings or such at all! I have always had dogs and yes saying goodbye to them when they pass is never easy but I have never felt any separation anxiety with living pets or with family members. I haven’t experienced that fearful anxiety, but I will pray for that to leave your mind and for God to comfort you. We face the reality of our lives changing. When I am scared I begin to give thanks for everything I can think of, every blessing and that helps so much. My mom used to say, “an attitude of gratitude will see you through anything.” Life gave us lemons, let’s make lemonade. Forgive me if I sound “preachy,” but this is how I survive the lemons in life❤️🙏🦋

I have been having anxiety for a very long time, now that I have the Lupus diagnosis and have read about others issues and learned about what lupus can do it makes sense. I also never knew what was causing those feelings. I have been on Cymbalta for a very long time. I'm hoping that when I get the right medication to help with the lupus inflammation I will be able to get the dose reduced. Good Luck!!
