when you guys first got Lupus, did you ever lose any weight? before this unknown autoimmune disease, i weighed 118 pounds. i now weigh 104. i’ve lost 14 pounds since November so i was just wondering if this is common? i changed up my diet so that could have something to do with it but i know most of it is because of this unknown autoimmune disease
I recently went to a wellness clinic. The diet suggested was vegetarian. Absolutely no meats, cheeses, dairy etc. All protein and calcium came from beans, nuts and vegetables. Is an extreme diet like this necessary for good health. Are chicken and fish (and occasionally cheese) detrimental to my health?. Thank you
Juicing helps to get nutrients that we need. I juice and try to eat better
I'd like to cut out foods that cause inflammation, I was reading that a Mediterranean diet is helpful to people with lupus. Has anyone tried that? Or anything that they find beneficial? Thinking about adding more fish as well.
Thanks for your help!
