What do you guys do for exercise if any? When I was in high school I ran cross country and I stopped because I hurt my ankle really bad. I am not sure if my body will allow me to do that again. So I was wondering what exercises are best?
Yoga is very forgiving as you can push yourself to your ability. I stretch every day and it does help. My exercise is walking and stretching even when I feel awful, I can move accordingly
I recently started going to the gym again and started with a lot of cardio for the past 5 days now. I have been noticing a lot of my lupus symptoms kicking in for the past couple of days. Tonight i have the butterfly rash and my knees are swollen. Could i be having a flare up from doing to much at the gym too fast? If so how many days a week should I be going so i don’t have a flare up like this?
Spit in Henry?? I am sorry if I offended you with my comment.
Two things came together, cold temperatures and dew points less than 50%, makes my lungs hurt. So staying inside in a warmer and higher humidity environment.
@A MyLupusTeam Member those are some wise words and I am going to listen to your dad’s advice. I have been so sore in my knees etc I stopped my exercises.
Thank you 💗
I was diagnosed the end of september and at that time also experienced my first big flare. For a few months before that I did not have the energy to exercise. Even now, when I think I can do the elliptical or something, I come away feeling exausted in a bad way and not refreshed and recharged like I used to. Will this ge better with time?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I want to know if anyone has had any of the levels from the ADSDNA, white cell, red cell , compliment count showing a normal level?

What food, exercise, I also have a heart condition and restrictive lung defect
I was put on mycophenalate to help the lupus nephritis.
Does anyone who still manages to exercise often take any supplements to aid with training?
I used to but now I just can’t I have Post exertion malaise
I haven't been here in awhile. I am currently trying to get my weight back undercontrol. I used to exercise 6 times a week and was very fit. Lupus has defy changed that part of my life. My biggest problem is that I am an all or nothing personality. So when I show up to a class I over do it then lay in bed for a week regretting it! I'm wondering what types of exercise other than yoga other lupus patients are doing? And how do you keep yourself from pushing too hard? My pants need advice! They… read more
