This just started happening to me in December on my left side. Comes along with a nice ear ache too. Lasts for a week or so and really all that helps is taking some ibuprofen and laying down on that side to put pressure on it. For whatever reason putting pressure on it helps for me.

Jaw pain is driving me nuts. I have lost several teeth on one side. I literally pulled them out myself. Jaw pain I think may be some TMJ. BUT now I feel lIke all my teeth gave shifted Bc of the ones missing. I'm having a hard time getting help to fix them. Any suggestions?

From what I am hearing from others because I suffer from this also, is that this is a common issue. I know I am in for a bad pain day when my jaw aches. I have been told I have TMJ. My dentist has made me a mouth guard. But I chip my teeth durring the day because I grind my teeth also when I am in pain. I have had to have my front teeth repaired so many times, it is pitiful! LOL

I get it on my right side of my jaw. Kept going to the dentist, who told me that I grind my Terry and that's why it hurts. It doesn't hurt all the time, but when it does, youwch! No idea what to do other than take prednisone for a few days to knock the swelling down.

Try researching TMJ I don't know what it stands for but I have a friend with this and it has to do with her jaw
