Members shared many practical ways to help manage joint pain, with heat therapy being the most popular suggestion, including heating pads, electric blankets, warm baths, and Epsom salt soaks. Several members recommended over-the-counter options like Voltaren gel and Diclofenac cream, while others suggested staying active, using NSAIDs, and exploring pain management specialists for stronger relief like steroid shots or prescription medications. A recurring theme was the importance of self-advocacy, trying different approaches without giving up, and leaning on community support to cope with daily pain.

main thing is to keep moving. I take a regular regimen of NSAIDs also I find that If I hurt too much at night a nice long soak in a tub of hot water seems to ease a bit, so that I can at least get some sleep.

Keep moving moist heat helps. Other than that and meds pray for God to help you deal with it.

For major pain I use Kratom. It is all natural and a relief. It also helps to have a high pain tolerance. Although it just gets old to always be in pain. So when I break down I use the Kratom in my tea. I just ABSOLUTELY hate pain medication even with my surgeries. It scares me.

Near infrared light therapy seems to help me loosen back up. I have a wrap/belt for the lower back that works pretty well and also has five vibration modes. Keep it next to the bed and often put it on and just lay there with it on for 20-30 minutes before rolling out in the morning. Once loosened up it's best to keep moving, or things will freeze back up (tin man).

My answer is an honest one. I started out on tylenol and Morin 800. After I gave birth, I was moved to Tylenol 4+Codeine. The older I became, the stronger the medication became. I could no longer manage the all over body pain on my own anymore. It was finally recommended, Percocet, Motrin 800, and Lyrica to manage the pain. This has worked for many years. Not ridding me of the pain completely but aided in mobility and stamina for the day. I was asked if I wanted to move to Morphine, but I have personally capped at what I am currently taking. I personally feel if I must take anything stronger than I am currently taking, then I need to be hospitalized or in a wheelchair.
Also, in my experiences, I have learned please, follow up with any referrals, or specialists recommended. I learned that my joints were deteriorating and I didnt know. Which was some of the source of pain. Some things I have had fixed (or replaced) and it has minimized some of the joint pain. If you are experiencing like me, all over body, joint, muscle, and bone pain, it really isnt much you can do. I would suggest meditation, heating pad (or ice), candles, or whatever eases you. Stress will elevate your pain
