The steroids ate my bones away resulting in a 9 hr operation in which they had to put a metal plate accross my back and then rods into the plates on each side then screws to hold the rods in place. From the top of my neck to my tail bone I have a back full of metal. I didn't plan on living as long as I did and the steroids just made my spine cave in. I used them in the early 70's into the early 80's then the results began to show in my back. I wish you all the best life can offer and Pray you have no side effects and can live a balance life of some kind. I need a walker to walk and if I don't have one I crawl. With all the new medications surely they have come up with something besides steriods .

I have been on @@ [[treatment:@Benlysta:54246cc708c929b37600010a]] treatment about 5 years now great no side effects feel great no flare-ups and no more @ prednisone but the only thing is when it's wearing off after the third week I kind of get a little bit of tiredness more fatigued till I get it again then I'm back up

I've been on it for a few years, I get benadryl tylenol steroids before because I would feel achy all over very tired an like my sinus flared up with pressure an head ache. It doesn't happen as much but if I'm late I can tell it's Definitely time for my infusion so I caution everyone before starting medicine try other methods first bc now I believe that there is no way I could stop my meds. An i believe I wouldn't be as sick as I am if I wouldn't of started all the medication that I am on

Try benadryl and solymedrol before infusion to prevent bad migraines and my infusion had to run over 4 hours. And my new infusion center doctor added Tylenol and decreased the amounts of solumedro as a pre med before my
infusion he also decreased the dose of the benlysta and he's not my rheumatologist but check see if you can get at least Tylenol and benadryl im have not been on it in several years
