My doctor wants to add methotrexate to my list of meds. I'm really nervous about it. I was diagnosed a year ago. I just not ready to take on such strong meds. What are your thought and or experiences with this drug?
I take it just make sure your also taking folic acid
I refused to take it.
I just started it and also scared. My skin seems drier and itchy, but that could be lupus or othermeds but it is early. Tomorrow I start my 3rd dose.

the folic acid is to help supplement your bones. The methotrexate can weaken the bones. the 2 are usually prescribed together
