Actually they had to take me off of Quinacrine as it raised my liver enzymes to much so keep an eye on your liver enzymes.

Contact a compounding pharmacy. Quinacrine is only available in the US in large quantities of the powder and has to be put into capsules in exact dose by compounding pharmacy. You can google it if you don't have one in your area. Or better yet, ask your prescribing rheum for local options.
It's a great drug, way safer than most lupus Rx.

I cant find any pharmacies in the US that still make quinacrine. Do you know of any pharmacies?

Its a cousin of Plaquenilbut has zero retinal toxicity. It is otherwise as safe as Plaquenil, i.e. people can have liver enzyme increase etc and other side effects but is well tolerated by most.
I developed retinal toxicity, switched to quinacrine and am doing well.
In times of low supply, contact local compounding pharmacies or find via internet.

Hi Megan . I still can't find much on it but it is really helping me. Also I haven't had any side effects at all with it.
