Yes unfortunately....... when I get the edema I am on HCTZ ( water pill) make sure to tell your MD this is happening he will need to check you heart Lupus patients are at a higher risk of heart issues. Elevate you legs when sitting and get plenty of sleep. If they are swollen when you go to bed prop them upwhen going to bed.
