Has anyone been told they have hae type 3?
I was not told a type of SLE, but I wasn't having a flare at the time of diagnosis. Type 3 just means your immune system is malfunctioning in a different way. Your antibodies attach themselves to antigens, but then the cells are deposited in joints and tissues. That deposition causes inflammation and other symptoms.
Hae is not Lupus. It stands for hereditary angioedema.
I am a RN so I just told you what I know. Ask your doc to explain it better or ask if you can have an education appt with a nurse
