A member living with lupus and Sjogren's reached out about feeling angry, dismissed, and emotionally drained while managing household responsibilities despite being sick and receiving little support from her husband and son. Several members validated her feelings, affirming that her frustration was not oversensitivity but a reasonable response to being treated unfairly, and suggested practical steps like having a doctor speak with family members about her conditions or sharing educational resources about lupus. A recurring theme was that she deserved kindness and respect, with many encouraging her to prioritize her own rest and wellbeing without guilt.

You are being treated MEAN plain and simple. They have no compassion and give you no support so stop helping them and say you are to sick.

You ladies have covered it all. Every time that I was going to post something, someone would say it for me. My dear Stacey, you should be the queen of your castle. You deserve the upmost respect and gratitude for everything that you do. If you don't get it, go on strike and take care of your needs and the needs of your dogs! They will learn a very valuable lesson.

Girl you take your bath anytime you get ready. You earned love and respect from that boy already by giving him life. Now just be strong, believe in yourself and demand it. This totally their problem not yours...

I'm sorry your family is treating you like that . I understand what you are saying totally . From my own experience I have stopped complaining about the house , dishes , laundry . Whatever . I do my own stuff only now ....Let them see how much you did do even when not feeling well . Let the dishes pile up when they need a clean plate it clean clothes I guess they will have to do it themselves . This is what frustrates me they just don't know what we go through . I wish you a peaceful weekend and I say to you .
Let it go , let it go , let it go . πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„πŸ˜ hugs to you ..

@A MyLupusTeam Member. I wouldn't call it being moody. I call it being frustrated and hurt. Being treated unfair is no walk in the park and especially when you are sick. I used to live where people were hurtful and the Lord provided me a way out. It was hard leaving where I was but I did and moved amongst people that treat me with respect. Oh, what a difference it made. Prayers for you.
