Morning Lupies,
I spent the evening with my grandson last night only to find out this morning he is covered in a rash and has measles. Any advice or anyone know how, or if, measles can affect someone with lupus?

Contact your physician and let them know you have been in contact with someone who has the measles. You may need a titer drawn to see if your still immune to them. I had a similar experience with chicken pox and I have had those more than once.

Measles isn't anything to mess with.

@DebbieWaton. Sorry about your grandson,I would start eating raw fruits & veggies, juicing, If you have any good vitamins for your immune system start now don't wait. If I happen to find myself next to someone ill, that's what I do. Apple Cider Vinegar 2 Tbs every morning on empty stomach. You can mix with 1/2 glass water and raw honey if need to. '"With our immune systems being compromised, it's best to stay away anyone who is ill..(I personally do not take an meds.) Careful if going to take a new med.. Wish you well!

Thank you so much Roxanne, I have taken your advice and started my day with Apple Cider Vinegar. I eat a lot of fresh fruit every day so I hope this will be in my favour. Thanks again for you advice, have a great day.
