Does anyone else get really out of breath and fatigued after doing anything physical? If I mop a few feet of floor, for example, I have to sit down and rest for several minutes before I can sart again.

I do that a lot! I try to do one thing a day that has to be done like sweeping and mopping the floor. It might take me all day but that's the only way I can do it. I have also bought an old ceder dust mop for sweeping it is a lot easer and I use a swifer wet jet for mopping so I don't have to ring out a mop. I try to find ways of getting stuff done that does not use a lot of spoons "energy" I hope this helps a little! If you need to stop and rest that's fine! Don't over do it! You don't want to pay for it the next day!

Yes, most of the time. I am constantly trying to simplify my household, anything to lighten the load. For instance, I am working on a shelf in the laundry room, with 4 baskets, one for household laundry, like towels, one for me, one for hubby, and one for son. Our teens do their own laundry. We will put the dirty laundry in each person's basket. Then I will only wash one person's laundry at a time. This will save a lot of time, in not having yo sort the laundry. Also, I have a folding chair in the laundry room, if I need to sit.

And I always have to pace myself. Do a little, rest a little, do a little, rest a little......

I spend my weekends doing a little, resting a little.Everything takes a lot longer, but you have to cut yourself a break. If it can't get done - it can't get done. Ask for help, rest as much as you can or know that your health is more important than a shiny floor.
