I have headaches every day along with migraines. I have a nuerologist that gives me two injections at the base of my scull. She first numbs the site and injects steroid into the two main outlets. She also recommends chiropractic care. It has helped the severity. I'm waiting on a compound cream that she has prescribed to rub on my neck, temples, crown of head. It will quickly absorb and numb. I should receive anyday. I'll let you know if it helps.

I take maxalt for migraines; when I was on plaquenil for a year the headaches never went away, despite treatments. I no longer take plaquenil. I still have migraine headaches two to three times a month, better than everyday.

My neurologist put me on Topamax daily as a preventive for migraines. It truly has been a godsend. I still have headaches, but not nearly as frequently or with the intensity as before. I also have Imitrex for severe episodes.
