My body temperature is normally not 98.6. I average around 97.4 when I am well. I have my thyroid levels checked multiple times and my levels are good. I do not have Hashimoto's. I am running a low grade fever at everyone else's normal. When I tell my doctor that I run low, I get very doubtfull looks. When I get up in the 99 degree range , I feel really bad. Does anyone else experience this?

I have the same issue, it's frustrating when the nurses say it's normal and they don't listen when your normal is 97.1 not 98.6. I'm currently watching my temp because I've been feeling off and having my face heat up. No a heat flash like menopause but a slow creep. Also my lupus is active per labs. Lately when I check temp on well days it's around 95.4.

My body temperature is always about the same as yours! Even when I feel hot or badly. I have NO clue why. I just was doing a search about it and saw your post. I'm glad I am not alone. Id I find any amswers I'll be sure to let you know!

I have this - so sometimes I have a 'fever' when it's only slightly above the average temp for others. Sometimes my forehead is also ice-cold while I'm burning up over the rest of my body. It's very frustrating when you KNOW you have a fever, only to be told, 'No, you're fine!'

I’m glad this has been posted because I always wondered why my body temperature runs 97.1 Good to know I’m not the only one. I experience at times one half of my body is cold by touch and the other half is warm. Has anyone else experienced it?
