As my dr. Told me steroids just blocking the symptoms. U will feel really bad when u stop them and then u will be fine. From my experience start a diet that u eat fruits and vegie and fish. I drink shakes. And try to swim or walk or something. I lost this way 30lb. And I'm still the same weight 6 month now.

It will help you wean the steriods. But must likely you will be on a low dose forever or in mega pain.

Absolutely, never just stop steroids on your own, talk to your Dr. It's definitely not worth the risks.

Immuran will replace prednisone. I was always under the impression that treatment was either steroids or immunosuppressant s. I was on immuran for years.....hope that helps a bit!
