I just notice over the last 3 weeks looking into everything I have seem to see this that with all the signs the people walk into the offices with and they seem not to want to even say that this is a option and was wondering did anyone say they had this happen and then get the digonosis and I was wondering if they still had the same Family Doctor and stay with them or move because he would not take your information seriously for some reason Do most people just move on to a new Doctor is this the… read more
I have the same dr you just speek what is going on I fine change a Dr is not always the best because you are starting over and this is time waisted push your issues don't let it get put on the back burner and don't let them think your just looking for attention speek to your Dr
My lupus symptoms started when I was 10 I finally got my diagnosis at 18 and now I am 36 I have been seeing the same Doctor all these years she listens to my concerns , she never doubts me and I would never change doctors. If you don't feel comfortable with your doctor you should switch doctors until you find the one that is right for you . You have to be your own advocate for your healthcare needs. I saw many specialist leading up to my diagnosis some thought I was just lying and others didn't want to label me with "lupus" at such an early age.
I live pretty much in the crappy little city up Northern Canada and Docotr comes here to get hours in and then move I had 4 doctors in 6 years because 3 left so I tell them something and then they move I was in major back pain then turned into hip pain 5 years straight and then all this happen to me few weeks ago and this is not what should be going on. why does a doctor even care if you have this or that send them or no your crazy its because the way the business runs I read this week my Canadian Medical Codes of conduct and the responsiblity of doctors and When I did they have no right to do this Private or not In Canada we may have everything free but if this road block is in my way like doctors like this well I am REPORTING Them everytime I meet one and this is what needs to happen and Its not as much as it should be I nerver met anyone in my life wrote a complaint on a doctor this has to start this is not a thing but now knowing what they have to uphold In Canada is differet now then what they all do unless there older Doctors seem to work with me better then young doctors and like right now me and wife go I don[t even speak to my doctor But I will never leave him because I think he wants me to thats why he is doing what he is doing and I will ensure when I am done with this guy he will not ever think to do this to another human again for whatever reason he has chosen to do this for BS.
Usually a rheumatologist would be the specialist to follow a patient with a lupus, scleroderma or other auto-immune disease. I am not sure where sarcoidosis falls in there. If the lupus remains in remission you can stay with them, however, my lupus has now attacked my lungs and I am on 24/7 oxygen. I see a pulmonologist now and my rheumatologist less but still go back to him as he diagnosed me. To be diagnosed properly for lupus there is a list of 10 different symptoms or events that you have had (you can find this on line or asks a rheumatologist). My lung disease is called pulmonary fibrosis because my lungs do not expand as well as normal lungs do. This has lad to pulmonary hypertension. I don't have hypertension except in my pulmonary artery. Soon I will be having a test to see just how severe the pressure and damage is to my pulmonary artery and medication will be prescribed. I hope I was helpful. Good luck and God Bless.
