Has anyone else endured allergic reactions directly related to antimalarial medications? If so, are there any recommended alternative medications/actions?

It might just be coincidence, but at 35 years old, I started plaquenil and within 7 weeks became anaphylactic to eggs... they stopped the plaquenil because they thought it might be that... but the egg allergy is here to stay. Ugh.

I was on plaquenil almost 3 years - toxicity is rare - you need eyes checking once a year minimum.
