Mornings Are Tough For Me... How Are Yours ? What Helps You Get Up?

A MyLupusTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Mornings are very tough to get up. My work schedule is soon changing from having to be in at 10am to being in at 7am! Eeek! Big change. I've done it before it didn't work out... But now I have no choice but do it or loose my job. What helps you get going in the morning ? Does the gym really help or make you more fatigued ?

Yes, Adderal works. It improves the brain fog and gives you more energy.

Mornings are torturous for me, not only am I stiff & in horrible pain, & am completely useless in every way possible and can only make it from my bed to the couch. Take my meds immediately, but they don't kick in until about 10 am. My fatigue is ridiculous, my sleep specialist/neurologist has me taking Adderall 20 mg 3 times per day and also recently added 250 mg Nuvigil that I take once in the morning in addition to the adderall, it definitely helps, but I still battle the fatigue through out the day, but if I didn't have those meds, I would not be able to function at all, seriously!! Of course part of my debilitating fatigue is caused from insomnia, I only average 2 or 3 hours of sleep every night. It's just another one of those lupus messes:(

Hello, I have to be up early for work and sometimes go to the gym for 6am which does help it's just getting the motivation to go that's difficult. I find planning outfits, lunch, bag, shower the night before so you just have to get up and go and also planning in 8 hours sleep works for me :)

I also have to be to work at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, sometimes weekends as well. Been at it for 20 years. Some days I have to call out because I just can't do it....
